- A letter with a result of 75% or higher from an assessment centre approved by Energy Safe Victoria for each of these assessments:

Energy Safe has sample assessments to assist you – see LEA sample assessments
- The Victorian Regulations and Qualifications Authority (VRQA) will have sent you a letter advising that your electrician’s apprenticeship is now complete.
Take a note of the registration number and include this when you apply for a licence. You don't need to attach the letter.
- A letter of support from your employer confirming:
- you have carried out a minimum period of 12 months of electrical installation work with their company (dates to be provided)
- the type of electrical work you have carried out
- the type of equipment you have worked on
- the type of industries you have worked in (domestic, industrial or commercial).
- The letter must be:
- on a business letterhead (or have the company details included)
- signed by the employer.
Note: The minimum period of 12 months' electrical installation work may be demonstrated across several employer support letters.
