User portal overview
You are a registered user of gas track
and you're logging in to process and
monitor active gas application submitted
to ESV. Enter your unique user ID and
password and login please familiarize
yourself with the terms and conditions
as part of the registration process, and
'accept' to continue.
To use a portal you
have logged into your user portal where
you can
- create gas applications
- respond to ESV's requirements
- view closed applications and
- manage your user profile.
The default view for the portal
is the 'needs response' worklist.
You will note in the worklist menu on the left
hand side that the number of
applications in each work list is
indicated in the draft work list.
You can view and progress created applications
that are not yet submitted. If your draft
application has not been active or
submitted in four weeks, you will receive
a reminder email that your draft
application is marked for deletion. If
your draft application has not been
active or submitted to two weeks after
receiving the reminder email, the draft
application is deleted by the system.
View applications
Once an application is submitted to ESV
the status of the application changes
from 'draft' to 'in progress'.
To open any gas application, to view or
progress, just click on the GA number.
You can view submitted applications that have been
created, submitted, and are being
processed by ESV via the 'in progress work'.
The applications are read-only but you
can open the applications and view and
print information within the application.
This includes your initial application
gas info sheets, attachments you supplied
and correspondence sent to you by ESV.
The 'needs response' work list is your
default view. Jobs in this work list
require action by you to progress. When
there are jobs in this work list to
action, the work list title turns red.
When you open the application you will
be presented with what you need to
respond to. Your actions here will keep
the application progressing towards
completion. Your prompt action will
ensure efficient processing by us.
Being 'in action' will result in delays to your
application being processed. Longer-term
in action will result in ESV contacting
you and it may result in your
application being cancelled. In the 'past
Work completion date' work list you can view aging applications
that are not complete and have passed the proposed
completion date specified by you.
The applications are separated into those
being progressed by ESV and those
that are awaiting action by you.
To update the proposed work completion date
only ESV gas enquiry line or email gas
applications an ESD will amend the
completion date for you.
Inaction on aging jobs may result in delays in
application processing and your application being
cancelled.

have been completed and final acceptance
