As a safety regulator, Energy Safe's principal role is to ensure the safe and efficient supply of energy to all Victorians.
Our objectives include performing its functions and exercising its powers to best achieve the objectives as stated within the applicable Acts.
In relation to pipelines and gas infrastructure our objective is to ensure pipeline safety – protect the public from environmental, health and safety risks resulting from the construction and operation of pipelines.
